Physician scientist at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS), Tanzania, where she also serves as the head of Internationalization and Convocation. Her professional interests focus on infectious diseases, particularly TB/HIV, adolescent health, and global health security.
Member of the Medical Women’s Association of Tanzania (MEWATA) and has actively participated in organizing nationwide mass screening campaigns for breast and cervical cancer for over 10 years.
Holds a degree in Medicine and a Master's in Internal Medicine from MUHAS. Additionally, she holds a Master's degree in Public Health from the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice in the USA. Completed a fellowship in Clinical Trials at Harvard Medical School and a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
