Consultant OBGYN at Aga Khan Hospital, Assistant Professor and Program Director for OBGYN Residency at Aga Khan University. She has a PhD in Reproductive Health in the field of Gender-Based Violence.She is a member of MEWATA, MAT, a member and immediate past Honorary Secretary of AGOTA, a fellow in ECSACOG. She has more than 10 years experience working in public and private facilities. She has research interest in Maternal and Newborn health. Has been a Co-PI in several multi-country, international projects such as SAFER birth, MOYO, WOMAN trial and ALERT projects. Currently the Lead CHOICE project Tanzania which is a multi-country initiative to support the local implementation of the health and health-related SDGs by activating Think Tanks. I have served as a mentor for numerous intern doctors, postgraduate students, and a few PhD candidates
